Job summary

UPS in the United States is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team, maintaining a diverse range of delivery vehicles and heavy equipment. You will troubleshoot hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including various weekly schedules depending on location. You’ll use diagnostic tools and possess your own hand tools, with strong emphasis on meeting

Qualifications

• Automotive mechanical experience and ability to troubleshoot using diagnostic equipment and a PC.
• Class A CDL preferred.
• Must possess personal hand tools.
• Able to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Meets DOT requirements for the job.
• Operates standard and manual transmission vehicles and power tools.
• Repairs UPS diesel and electric vehicles and ensures timely maintenance.
• Works with safety protocols and PPE at all times.
• Maintains and documents vehicle upkeep and inspections.
