Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. The technician will service a range of delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers with diesel and gasoline propulsion.

You will troubleshoot hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls while adhering to safety standards. The role requires DOT compliance, a valid driver’s license, and availability for second or third shifts.

Qualifications

• Current automotive mechanical experience required.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• Full toolkit carried by the technician is required.
• Class A/B CDL preferred for the role.

Responsibilities

• Meets DOT requirements for the job assignment.
• Maintain a variety of vehicles and trailers in the fleet.
• Operate standard and manual transmissions and power tools.
• Follow safety and environmental guidelines on site.
