Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will maintain a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty on-road tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers.

You will diagnose and service diesel, gasoline, and alternative propulsion systems, and troubleshoot hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls. This role requires willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, Monday through Friday or Sunday through Thursday as

Qualifications

• Active driver’s license issued by the state.
• Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts depending on location.
• Must possess the required hand tools for the job.
• Experience with diesel, gasoline, and alternative propulsion systems.

Responsibilities

• Meets DOT requirements required by job assignment.
• Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently throughout duration of workday.
• Sits infrequently, as required, throughout duration of workday.
• Operates standard and manual transmission.
• Operates power and pneumatic tools.
