Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join its fleet maintenance team. The technician will maintain a variety of equipment including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers, with diesel and gasoline propulsion systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls, using diagnostic tools and PC-based data. The role requires a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive mechanical systems and diagnostics.
• Ability to read diagnostic tools and operate PCs.
• Reliable with a valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to work varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a diverse range of vehicles including delivery vans, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers.
• Troubleshoot and service hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems and engine controls.
• Operate standard and manual transmissions and power tools.
• Follow safety procedures and DOT requirements.
