Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an Auto Body Damage Manager in Las Vegas, NV to lead fleet damage repair and in-fleeting/de-fleeting efforts. You’ll drive operational excellence, manage a high-performing team, and optimize safety, efficiency, and profitability across damage operations.

You will oversee damage repair planning, vendor relationships, and labor/parts sourcing while ensuring policy compliance and process consistency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; 2-4 year college degree preferred (or equivalent in education, training or experience)
• Minimum of 2 years management experience of employees in related field (rental car, automotive shop or service oriented field)
• Prior experience writing damage is preferable; Valid driver’s license and successful background check
• Ability to work flexible schedules in a fast-paced environment that may include early morning, nights, or weekends

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and communicates operating plans to maximize fleet utilization and directs vehicle damage repair
• Monitors team performance against goals for damage, cost per estimate, and vendor cycle time
• Prioritizes vehicles for repair/salvage and communicates work to team
• Ensures repair orders are completed per guidelines and manages labor hours and parts sourcing
• Minimizes repair cycle times and conducts monthly writer reviews/audits
• Forecasts, budgets and manages key financial drivers, including cost of repair
• Maintains body shop/vendor relationships and negotiates rates with audits
• Oversees purchase orders, invoices, and timely payments
• Leads employee lifecycle activities and maintains a high performance culture
• Ensures safety policies are followed and enforces company HR policies
