Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. seeks a Fleet Specialist to monitor fleet vehicles, manage asset distribution, and ensure regulatory safety standards are met.

The role includes evaluating equipment for condition and risk, and providing ongoing oversight for asset accountability and process improvements. You will travel 30–50% of the time within the region, hold a valid CDL A, and use MS Office, Excel, and Google Suite to analyze data and maintain records.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in automotive fleet services or logistics.
• Valid State CDL Class A license (not provisional).
• Able to travel 30–50% within the region.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all fleet vehicles and equipment for compliance and safety.
• Evaluate equipment condition and risk per DOT requirements and internal procedures.
• Oversee asset accountability and drive process improvements.
• Assign trucks to employees and maintain distribution lists and fuel cards.
• Conduct periodic vehicle and equipment inspections; travel 30–50%.
• Manage physical assets and resources, projecting future needs.
• Build and manage vendor/corporate relationships.
• Act as point of contact for vehicle violations and toll queries.
