Job summary

Wingstop is seeking team members to prepare high-quality wings and sides in a fast-paced environment. The cook will ensure consistency, adhere to hygiene standards, and support a positive guest experience through efficient service.

Experience in cooking or restaurant settings is preferred; Food Handler Certification is required. The role offers an opportunity to grow within a flavor-focused brand that values teamwork and guest satisfaction.

• Cook and restaurant experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests have a positive Wingstop experience.
• Practice safe cooking procedures.
• Scan and comprehend order tickets.
• Count the number of Bone-In Wings, Boneless Wings and Boneless Strips for each order.
• Coordinate the cooking time of wings and fries with the timer.
• Sauce, season and package all orders.
• Count the cooked wings and strips into the proper sauce bowls.
• Cook wings, boneless wings, strips and fries in the proper fryers and baskets.
• Maintain fryer shortening daily with proper safety procedures and equipment.
• Keep the kitchen clean during and after shifts; clean as you go.
• Notify Manager on Duty of safety, sanitation, or employee issues.
• Follow directions given by Manager or Supervisor.
• Know and understand proper hygiene and food handling practices.
• Follow instructions on how to safely use cleaning products.
