Job summary

Wingstop is seeking a motivated Cook to prepare high-quality wings, fries, and sides in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring consistency with Wingstop standards daily and maintaining proper hygiene. You will manage order tickets, coordinate cooking times, and maintain cleanliness, while delivering a flavorful guest experience and collaborating with teammates to meet demand during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Professional cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
• Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
• Line cook: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Ensure that each guest has a positive, long lasting impression of the Wingstop experience
• Ability to practice safe cooking procedures
• Scan and comprehend the order tickets
• Count wings and boneless wings and strips accurately for each order
• Coordinate cooking time of wings and fries with timers
• Sauce, season and package all orders according to Wingstop standards
• Count cooked items into proper sauce bowls
• Cook and prepare wings and fries in the proper fryers and baskets
• Maintain fryer shortening daily with proper safety procedures
• Keep the kitchen clean throughout the shift and at closing time
• Notify Manager on Duty of safety, sanitation, or employee issues
• Assist other employees as needed
• Follow directions given by Manager or Supervisor
• Understand and follow good hygiene and food handling practices
• Follow safe use of chemical cleaning products
