Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking a Flat Rate Technician in New Hampshire to perform diagnosis, repair and maintenance of automotive systems, ensuring quality work the first time.

The role requires following VIP safety, loss prevention, and customer service programs, and requires ASE certifications as per position. The technician will handle engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, tires and accessories, while maintaining safety standards and completing Work Orders and parts handling with the desk team.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions and procedures.
• Explain vehicle information clearly to customers and coworkers.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to automotive problems.
• Understand and apply written or spoken instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is Priority #1 and report unsafe conditions.
• Provide diagnosis, repair, and maintenance for automotive systems.
• Initiate Service Work Orders and MPI prior to service.
• Obtain parts through the Desk Team and return unused parts.
