Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Tifton, GA to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition with precision and speed. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and repaint vehicles using standard tools and techniques.

You will collaborate with team members to meet KPIs and uphold customer-experience standards while adhering to safety and labor guidelines. This role offers flat-rate compensation with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year auto body apprenticeship completed.
• Ability to read job orders with little supervision.
• Ability to work with others in an auto body shop.
• Thorough understanding of repair methods and required tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates using shop tools.
• Repair dents, realign chassis, replace parts, and repaint vehicles.
• Weld and attach parts; ensure work complies with time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to verify quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
