Job summary

The Boyd Group in Hilton Head Island, SC is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide precise, high-quality vehicle repairs and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The role involves disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition while aligning with our speed, quality, and customer-excellence goals. Compensation includes a flat rate pay of $21–$30 per hour with potential bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair and reassemble vehicles, replacing damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Weld and attach parts, repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
