Job summary

The Boyd Group in Albany, GA is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide meticulous repair work and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition, delivering a superior customer experience. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while contributing to speed, quality and customer excellence.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents using filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair glass.
• Weld and fit parts, repaint vehicles to factory specifications or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect repairs.
