Job summary

SKIMS is seeking an Assistant Store Leader – Operations for our 5th Avenue Flagship. You will partner with the Store Leader to ensure operational soundness, drive results, and maintain outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers growth in leadership and a direct impact on SKIMS growth. You will coach the team on brand standards, balance high-volume operations, and contribute to a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years retail leadership or operations-focused experience.
• Deep knowledge of inventory systems, shipment handling, and operational processes.
• Strong customer service principles and ability to provide exceptional service.
• Ability to resolve issues promptly and maintain high service standards.
• Strong communicator who can share expectations and provide feedback.
• Passion for the SKIMS brand and values in every interaction.
• Must be able to stand, move, and be active 100% of the shift.
• Lift up to 40 pounds regularly and work with flexibility for evenings/weekends.
• Full Time availability and willingness to overtime as needed.
• Does not want to be an influencer.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations with a focus on Operational Excellence.
• Oversee Back of House operations, inventory accuracy, and organization.
• Manage replenishment, size integrity, and product availability.
• Own damage processing, returns, and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain store supplies, equipment, and technology with urgent service reporting.
• Train the team on policies, safety, and loss prevention.
• Lead floor leadership during peak hours and model customer-obsessed service.
• Lead training on fit, function, and product knowledge.
• Coach visuals and product placement to stay on-brand and responsive to trends.
• Utilize reporting tools to support inventory excellence and KPI goals.
• Communicate with Store Leader and HQ on allocation and data.
• Plan and execute floor sets and store initiatives.
• Demonstrate flexibility and learning agility amid changing priorities.
• Inspire the team with clear, respectful communication and accountability.
