Job summary

Balsam Brands is seeking a Store Manager for the Balsam Hill Studio in Maui, HI. You will lead a small team, drive sales, ensure brand standards, and deliver exceptional customer experiences in a flagship store. This role requires a strong retail background, coaching ability, and hands-on leadership.

As part of the Lahaina location, you will manage operations, merchandising, labor schedules, inventory control, and community engagement while upholding safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience, preferably in specialty, boutique, luxury, or home retail.
• Experience coaching and developing leaders.
• Strong commercial acumen with KPI interpretation and performance driving.
• Excellent communication, organization, planning, and prioritization.
• Visual merchandising and operational execution experience.
• Ability to balance customer experience with payroll, productivity, and inventory.
• Proficiency with retail systems, Microsoft Office, and business reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by fostering a customer-first culture.
• Lead and develop a small team of 2 full-time and 1 part-time associates.
• Drive sales by setting priorities, coaching in real time, and KPI-driven strategies.
• Partner with Area Manager and cross-functional teams on initiatives.
• Build local community relationships to increase brand awareness and store traffic.
• Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing store team.
• Analyze business performance and improve sales, customer experience, operations.
• Build schedules that drive results while managing labor.
• Maintain visual merchandising, promotions, and store standards.
• Oversee inventory management, replenishment, shipment processing, loss prevention.
• Ensure consistent execution of policies, safety standards, processes.
