Job summary

JUNK Brands is opening its first flagship retail store in downtown Bentonville and seeks a Store Manager to lead from day one. You will shape the floor plan, merchandising, staffing, store procedures, and the customer experience.

You will own day-to-day store performance, including sales, inventory, events, and community engagement, and partner with ecommerce, marketing, product, and operations on launches and campaigns.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail management experience.
• Experience opening a new retail location or building store processes from scratch.
• Background in athletic, outdoor, specialty, lifestyle, or apparel retail.
• Hands-on customization, embroidery, heat press, or similar in-store production.

Responsibilities

• Open the store from pre-opening through launch, including merchandising, inventory, POS setup, and staff training.
• Own daily store execution and ensure the customer experience reflects the JUNK brand.
• Lead store-level sales performance, manage expenses and labor to budget, and monitor key metrics.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a small part-time team (2–3 associates).
• Coordinate in-store events and activations with local partners and ecommerce teams.
