Job summary

JUNK Brands is opening its first flagship retail store in downtown Bentonville, AR. We seek a Store Manager to lead pre-opening, set merchandising, staffing, and store procedures, then own daily operations, customer experience, and performance with a hands-on, high-energy leadership style.

The role will coordinate with ecommerce, marketing, product, and community teams to execute launches, events, and campaigns while building a lasting local customer base and community presence.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of retail management experience.
• Experience with visual merchandising and store launches.
• Hands-on experience with customization, embroidery, heat press, or similar in-store production.
• Availability for a retail schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Open store from pre-opening through launch, including merchandising and staff training.
• Establish opening/closing, cash handling, cleanliness, safety, and loss prevention standards.
• Own daily store execution and customer experience on the floor.
• Identify operational issues and propose solutions or escalate.
• Develop and improve store processes as we learn what works.
• Own store-level sales performance against daily, weekly, and monthly plans.
• Manage controllable store expenses and labor to budget.
• Track metrics like traffic, conversion, AOV, and units per transaction; report findings.
