Job summary

JUNK Brands is opening its first flagship retail store in downtown Bentonville. We are seeking a Store Manager to open the store, build the operating playbook from day one, and establish the floor plan, merchandising, staffing, store procedures, and customer experience.

Once open, you will own day-to-day performance, manage a small part-time team, and collaborate across ecommerce, marketing, product, and community engagement to execute launches, events, and broader company initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail management experience with direct team leadership.
• Experience opening a new retail location or building store processes from scratch.
• Hands-on experience with customization, embroidery, heat press, or similar in-store production.
• Ability to work retail hours including weekends and peak periods.
• Strong customer-service and sales instincts; comfortable on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Open the new flagship store, set merchandising, inventory, and staffing standards.
• Lead daily store execution, cash handling, loss prevention, and customer experience.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a small part-time team of 2–3 associates.
• Collaborate with ecommerce, marketing, product, and community teams on launches and events.
• Maintain visual merchandising and manage inventory accuracy and reporting.
