RoadSafe Traffic Systems Reno, NV seeks a Traffic Control Flagger II to direct traffic around construction zones, set up and remove signs, cones, and barriers, and ensure the safety of workers and the public. You will use hand signals and signs to guide motorists and must stay aware of changing conditions while outdoors.

The role requires standing for long periods, working in varying weather, and effective communication with contractors and teams.

Qualifications

• Background check and motor vehicle records verification.
• Must pass drug test and meet DOT requirements.
• ATSSA Flagger training and Defensive Driver training completed.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and barricades to divert traffic.
• Direct traffic with stop/slow paddles and communicate clearly.
• Maintain radio communication with teammates.
• Stand/walk for extended periods outdoors in various weather.
• Lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Drive company vehicles to transport equipment to job sites.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Work nights and weekends as required by projects.
