Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Fixed Income Middle Office Analyst to support day-to-day operations from trade capture through settlement and reporting. You will monitor exceptions, coordinate issue resolution, and help strengthen controls across partnerships within Asset Management.

The role emphasizes process improvement, data accuracy, and timely insights for stakeholders. You will work with portfolio managers, fund accounting, custody, and performance teams to ensure accurate trade details

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience in Operations, Product, Business Management, Data/Analytics, or a related role.
• Experience with exception processing and root-cause insights.
• Proficiency with Excel and learning new workflows.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication across stakeholders.
• Ability to build relationships in a matrixed environment.
• Knowledge of the fixed income asset setup lifecycle.
• Understanding of accounting principles and performance attribution concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation process for public and private assets across key operational workstreams
• Provide daily operational support to fixed income portfolio managers, including securitized and private products
• Serve as a central point of contact for operational support related to private securitized products across partners
• Ensure trade details are captured accurately and communicated to downstream partners (including fund accounting, custody, and performance teams)
• Assist with operational support for bank loans and debt restructuring activity, as needed
• Monitor exceptions and breaks, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
• Drive process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and operating platform resiliency
• Design, document, and maintain procedures that support a strong controls environment
• Maintain oversight of offshore processes and coordinate issue remediation and follow-through
• Prepare and present operational insights, trends, and risks to stakeholders as needed
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, data, and responses in a timely manner
