Job summary

Morgan Stanley Investment Management Operations is seeking a highly motivated Equities Trade Support Director to provide day-to-day operational support to Portfolio Managers and Traders across the equity trade lifecycle.

You will partner with front office, technology, compliance, and counterparties to ensure accurate trade capture, confirmations, settlement, and reconciliations while maintaining strong control frameworks.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in equities trade support or middle office.
• Experience supporting front-to-back workflows from execution through settlement and reporting.
• Familiarity with regulatory and client reporting expectations.

Responsibilities

• Trade Support Coverage: provide day-to-day operational support across equities and FX, ensuring timely and accurate processing of trades and readiness for front office stakeholders.
• Issue Resolution and Escalation: perform root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions with risk and control mindset.
• Optimization: streamline processes, increase straight-through-processing, and enhance controls using automation and AI-enabled solutions.
