State Street Corporation is seeking a senior technology leader to guide the strategy, engineering, and delivery of proprietary fixed income index portfolio management applications. You will drive modernization, cloud adoption, and automation while balancing business demand with platform strategy.

You will lead onshore and offshore teams, oversee development, testing, release management, and production support, and partner with investment teams to rapidly translate business needs into scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep understanding of portfolio management workflows and front-office investment platforms.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering and technology leadership experience within Asset Management, Financial Services, Capital Markets, or related industries.
• Proven track record leading large-scale engineering organizations and complex platform transformation programs.
• Strong hands-on software engineering background with Java, Python, C++, Scala, or similar enterprise technologies.
• Experience designing, building, and operating enterprise-scale software platforms and distributed systems.
• Experience leading globally distributed teams across software engineering, architecture, quality engineering, platform engineering, and production support functions.
• Demonstrated ability to define and execute technology strategy while partnering effectively with senior business leaders.
• Experience with application modernization, cloud technologies, APIs, and distributed architectures.
