Job summary

State Street is seeking an experienced technology leader to guide the strategy, engineering, modernization, and delivery of Fixed Income Cash Investment Management platforms. You will partner with portfolio managers, traders, risk, compliance, operations, and technology teams to build scalable, real-time cash visibility and automated workflows.

The role combines domain knowledge with leadership to simplify the application landscape, automate manual workflows, and deliver measurable business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering and technology leadership in Asset Management or Financial Services.
• Proven track record leading large-scale engineering organizations and complex platform transformations.
• Hands-on background with Java, Python, C++, Scala or similar enterprise technologies.
• Experience designing and operating enterprise-scale platforms and distributed systems.
• Experience leading globally distributed teams across multiple engineering functions.
• Ability to define and execute technology strategy with senior business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and technical direction for Fixed Income Cash Investment Management platforms.
• Lead modernization through cloud adoption, APIs, event-driven services, and data products.
• Automate cash-flow aggregation, forecasting, controls, and reconciliation workflows.
• Deliver near real-time views of cash, positions, maturities, and exposures.
• Apply AI/ML to decision support, alerts, and workflow productivity.
• Lead global engineering teams across architecture, development, testing, releases, and production support.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to prioritize investments and communicate outcomes.
