Job summary

State Street is seeking a senior technology leader to drive strategy, engineering, and delivery of proprietary Fixed Income Index applications. The role partners with Product Owners and Portfolio Managers to translate business needs into scalable tech solutions and to modernize the platform with cloud and automation.

Global onshore/offshore teams collaborate to deliver impact. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of fixed income investment processes and extensive leadership

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering and technology leadership in Asset Management or Financial Services.
• Proven track record leading large-scale engineering organizations and platform transformations.
• Hands-on background in Java, Python, C++, or similar enterprise technologies.
• Experience designing and operating enterprise-scale software platforms.
• Ability to lead globally distributed teams and align tech with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, engineering, and delivery of proprietary applications for Fixed Income Index management.
• Guide architecture, modernization, cloud adoption, and automation.
• Oversee onshore and offshore engineering teams, development, testing, and production support.
• Partner with Product Owners and Portfolio Managers to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Foster global partnerships across business and technology units.
