OXXO USA seeks a detail-oriented Fixed Assets Accountant to manage asset records and CIP across the U.S. from the Dallas/Farmers Branch corporate office. You will run depreciation, asset settlements in SAP S/4HANA, and maintain asset master data for accurate capitalization and GAAP compliance.

This role requires 2–4 years of fixed asset experience, a related degree, and strong Excel skills. SAP expertise is highly desirable for success in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• 2-4 years of hands-on fixed asset accounting or capital project accounting experience.
• Retail, CPG, or multi-site operations experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP Asset Accounting including asset master data, depreciation, and settlement transactions.
• Strong understanding of fixed asset lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, impairments, and disposals under U.S. GAAP.
• Proficiency in SAP (S/4HANA) and MS Excel with pivot tables and data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage high volumes of asset transactions.
• Strong cross-functional communication with Real Estate, Construction, Operations, and external vendors.

Responsabilités

• Run monthly asset settlement processes in SAP S/4HANA to move completed invoices and costs into CIP and capitalize assets.
• Execute monthly depreciation runs with accurate useful life assignments and depreciation methods.
• Coordinate with Real Estate and Construction teams to determine capitalization timing and cost allocation.
• Manage full fixed asset lifecycle including acquisitions, transfers, impairments, and disposals/write-offs.
• Maintain fixed asset register (asset master data) in SAP with cost, location, life, and status.
• Record disposals and write-offs, posting gains or losses per policy and U.S. GAAP.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of fixed asset sub-ledger to the general ledger and resolve variances.
