Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking an experienced asset accounting professional to manage validations, asset setup, journal entries, and month-end close across multiple sectors. You will liaise with AP, treasury, IT, and field accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies.

The role requires a four-year degree in Accounting or related field, 5–10 years of asset accounting experience, and strong Excel/SAP skills to support audits and reporting obligations.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex validations prior to processing of asset requests (SAP: set-ups, transfers, retirements).
• Independently analyze asset purchase requests and determine correct asset setup.
• Validate and respond to questions on leases, asset creation, changes, invoices, and journal entries.
• Prepare/post journal entries and resolve submission discrepancies.
• Provide training to internal customers on Asset Requests requirements.
• Ensure accounting conforms to Group policies and controls.
