Job summary

Southwest Convenience Stores, LLC (OXXO USA) seeks a detail-oriented Fixed Assets Accountant to manage asset records and support capital project accounting across the U.S. operations from the Dallas area.

You will oversee asset capitalization, CIP activity, monthly depreciation, and asset settlements in SAP S/4HANA. The role requires 2–4 years in fixed asset accounting, strong SAP expertise, and proficiency in MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in fixed asset accounting, capital project accounting, or a closely related function.
• Experience in retail, CPG, or multi-site operations is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience with SAP Asset Accounting module, including asset master data, depreciation runs, and settlement transactions, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Run monthly asset settlement processes in SAP to move completed invoices into CIP and capitalize assets.
• Execute monthly depreciation runs and ensure correct useful life, methods, and asset class configurations.
• Coordinate with Real Estate and Construction teams for asset capitalization timing and cost allocation.
• Manage full lifecycle of fixed assets including acquisitions, transfers, reclassifications, impairments, disposals/write-offs.
• Maintain fixed asset register in SAP with accurate cost, location, useful life, depreciation method, and status.
