Job summary

TradeZero America Inc. is seeking an Onboarding Specialist / Engineer to implement, maintain, and troubleshoot FIX protocol connections between TradeZero, institutional clients, brokers, and third-party technology vendors.

You will work with front-office, back-office, tech support, developers, and product teams to ensure smooth connectivity and production rollout. The role focuses on configuring sessions, certifying connections, diagnosing issues, and supporting pre- and post-trade workflows

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in technical integration or electronic trading.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Working knowledge of FIX protocol and messaging standards (FIX 4.4 or FIX 5.0).
• Understanding of electronic trading workflows and trade lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Onboard, configure, certify, and support FIX protocol connections for clients, brokers, and third-party vendors.
• Manage integration services including pre- and post-trade workflows.
• Own client inquiries and production issues through diagnosis, escalation, and resolution.
• Proactively monitor FIX sessions and system performance for platform stability.
• Review FIX messages, logs, configurations, and trade details to investigate issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with product and development to implement new functionality and workflows.
• Perform data-driven analysis to monitor integration performance and identify improvements.
• Maintain documentation of FIX configurations, client mappings, and workflows.
• Provide training on new products and workflows.
