Job summary

The Inn at Little Washington in Virginia seeks a front desk/host hybrid to deliver a five-star, five-diamond guest experience. You will support Front Office and Dining Room operations, greet guests warmly, manage seating, and relay requests with poise.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years in front desk or host roles, strong communication, and familiarity with ResortSuite and Tock, in a refined luxury setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Front Desk or restaurant host experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Familiarity with Forbes Standards; bilingual preferred.
• Prior experience with Resortsuite and Tock is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Front Office operations and deliver a five-star guest experience.
• Welcome guests at the front desk and seat guests in dining areas.
• Handle phone calls, emails and guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Assist servers with walking food and assisting guests as needed.
• Run daily reports and complete daily checklists.
• Greet guests as if welcoming them to your own home.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering on room status.
