Job summary

The Inn at Little Washington is seeking an entry-level Front of House teammate to support daily operations and deliver a 5-Star, 5-Diamond, 3-Michelin Star experience to every guest. You will assist the Dining Room team and help maintain immaculate service areas to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Well-groomed and well-presented with no visible tattoos.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with Forbes Standards.
• Ability to communicate in a language other than English, preferably Spanish or French.
• Certification in alcohol awareness program.
• Certification in CPR.
• Prior experience with Resortsuite and Tock.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of basic dining room etiquette and standards.
• Polishes, sorts, and distributes glasses and silverware efficiently.
• Identifies various types of glassware and silverware.
• Sets and resets tables for breakfast, tea, and dinner.
• Maintains garden setup and breakdown (including fire-pit seasonally).
• Coordinates storage of flowers and setup/breakdown.
• Manages ice retrieval and refills as needed.
• Assists guests with questions about the property and local area.

SUMMARY

Thisis an entry level position assisting in daily Front of House operations todeliver a 5-Star, 5-Diamond, 3-Michelin Star experience to all guests. Maintainall aspects of the service areas. Serve as a support to the Dining Room team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Demonstrates knowledge of basic dining room/phonestandards and etiquette
• Expediently and withgreat skill performs polishing/sorting/distributing all types of glasses andsilverware/Ability to identify various types of glassware and silverware
• Recognizes alllinens and folds for all shifts. Strip linens daily for service
• Demonstrates knowledge of table numbers
• Able to clear/set/reset a table(Breakfast/Tea/Dinner)
• Knowledge of garden setup/breakdown (includingfire-pit seasonally)
• Storage of flowers and setup/breakdown
• Location and retrieval ofIce/ will routinely refill ice
• Can properly break downdishes in wait station #4
• Able to reset tables to pristinecondition
• Maintains organization in WS4
• Has understanding of property layoutand where all the rooms are located
• Demonstrates understanding of TheForbes Travel Guide’s standards

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Mustbe at least 16 years of age
