Job summary

Club Studio in Santa Monica seeks a dynamic front-of-house leader to hire, train, and coach a fitness-minded team across reception, recovery, and janitorial operations. You will supervise schedules, manage supplies, and support profitability goals.

A strong focus on selling fitness and multiple modalities is required, along with community outreach and staff development. You will participate in daily leadership meetings, drive client acquisition, and foster a positive, collaborative work

Qualifications

• Fitness industry experience and passion.
• 40 hours/week with reliable attendance; nights/weekends as needed.
• Experience motivating a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and quick to problem solve.
• Passionate about growing career in fitness with Club Studio.

Responsibilities

• Find hire, train a top talented team that is fitness minded and understands customer service.
• Manage the Front Desk, Studio Desk, Recovery, and Janitorial departments - including their schedules
• Manage/order janitorial and club supplies
• Assist in running a clean and profitable club through team by coordinating with managers and staff
• Must be willing to learn the art of selling fitness and multiple modalities and studio classes
• Ensure that your team can communicate studio concepts
• Passionate about community outreach and help the studio director in planning in studio events
• Daily 15-minute morning meeting with Sales Manager, Studio Director and Lead Trainer to discuss outstanding items and plan strategy
• Generate new clients and encourage the team to do the same
• Create a positive, safe teamwork environment
• Take responsibility for all club needs. Step in and help out
• Understand and apply the management definition: achieving goals through teamwork
• Eager to continue to learn about management skills development.
• Be timely well dressed and ready to work
