Job summary

Gold's Gym in the United States is seeking a Fitness Sales Manager to lead a team of elite personal trainers, drive the growth of our training department, and uphold Gold's Gym standards. You will coach staff, manage sales performance, and ensure exceptional member experiences on the gym floor.

The role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and measurable results in sales, staff development, and client satisfaction, with opportunities to grow within our expanding network.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification preferred (NASM, ACSM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, NPTI, etc.)
• CPR/AED Certification (current)
• Minimum 2 years of personal training experience
• Minimum 1 year supervisory or management experience in fitness or sales
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Strong understanding of fitness programming, member engagement, and business operations
• Professional appearance, leadership presence, and effective communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate exercises and be physically active on the gym floor

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Personal Training team
• Drive all aspects of personal training sales, revenue, and member conversion
• Conduct fitness assessments, onboarding sessions, and sales presentations
• Hire, onboard, and develop high-performing trainers
• Manage schedules, session bookings, and department operations
• Track team performance metrics - sales, session volume, retention, and engagement
• Foster an elite culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous education
• Collaborate with leadership to plan and execute major club events and initiatives
• Maintain a strong presence on the gym floor to build member relationships and visibility
