Job summary

Gold's Gyms Of The Carolinas is seeking a Fitness Sales Manager to lead the Personal Training team, drive PT sales, and elevate member service. You will coach trainers, manage daily operations, and partner with leadership to execute club initiatives.

This leadership role rewards performance with a commission structure, growth opportunities across the Gold's Gym network, and comprehensive benefits. You will stay hands-on on the gym floor, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM/ACSM/ACE/ISSA/NSCA/NPTI) preferred.
• CPR/AED certification current.
• Minimum 2 years of personal training experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience in fitness or sales.
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong understanding of fitness programming, member engagement, and business operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Personal Training team.
• Drive all aspects of personal training sales, revenue, and member conversion.
• Conduct fitness assessments, onboarding sessions, and sales presentations.
• Hire, onboard, and develop high-performing trainers.
• Manage schedules, session bookings, and department operations.
• Track team performance metrics – sales, session volume, retention, and engagement.
• Foster an elite culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous education.
• Collaborate with leadership to plan and execute major club events and initiatives.
• Maintain a strong presence on the gym floor to build member relationships and visibility.

Requirements

• Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACSM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, NPTI, etc.) – preferred
