Job summary

Gold's Gyms Of The Carolinas seeks a Fitness Sales Manager to lead the Personal Training team, drive PT sales, and elevate member engagement across the club floor.

You will coach trainers, implement growth systems, and ensure high‑quality client experiences while maintaining a strong on-floor presence with members daily.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification preferred.
• CPR/AED Certification current.
• Minimum 2 years of personal training experience.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory or management experience in fitness or sales.
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong understanding of fitness programming, member engagement, and business operations.
• Professional appearance, leadership presence, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate exercises and be physically active on the gym floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Personal Training team.
• Drive all aspects of personal training sales, revenue, and member conversion.
• Conduct fitness assessments, onboarding sessions, and sales presentations.
• Hire, onboard, and develop high-performing trainers.
• Manage schedules, session bookings, and department operations.
• Track team performance metrics – sales, session volume, retention, and engagement.
• Foster an elite culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuing education.
• Collaborate with leadership to plan and execute major club events and initiatives.
• Maintain a strong presence on the gym floor to build member relationships and visibility.

Requirements
