Job summary

Gold's Gym in Charlotte, NC seeks a Fitness Sales Manager to lead the Personal Training team, drive sales, and elevate member engagement. You will coach trainers, manage schedules, and influence club performance through measurable results.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification preferred.
• CPR/AED certification current.
• Minimum 2 years of personal training experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience in fitness or sales.
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong understanding of fitness programming, member engagement, and business operations.
• Professional appearance, leadership presence, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate exercises and be physically active on the gym floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Personal Training team.
• Drive all aspects of personal training sales, revenue, and member conversion.
• Conduct fitness assessments, onboarding sessions, and sales presentations.
• Hire, onboard, and develop high-performing trainers.
• Manage schedules, session bookings, and department operations.
• Track team performance metrics — sales, session volume, retention, and engagement.
• Foster an elite culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous education.
• Collaborate with leadership to plan and execute major club events and initiatives.
• Maintain a strong presence on the gym floor to build member relationships and visibility.

Requirements
