Job summary

Houston Fitness Partners, a Planet Fitness franchisee, is seeking a Club Manager in Houston, TX. This salaried role focuses on leading staff, delivering a welcoming experience to members and guests, and driving club performance.

You will recruit, train, and schedule employees, oversee front desk operations, ensure safety, manage marketing efforts, and complete weekly to annual reports. Evening/overnight availability and lifting up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Pass a background check.
• CPR/AED certification required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and develop staff including Assistant Managers and front-desk personnel.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure superior customer service.
• Oversee payroll, scheduling and staffing to ensure proper coverage.
• Address employee and member issues promptly and professionally.
• Perform HR-related duties and coordinate with Corporate HR.
• Handle all front-desk tasks including sign-ups and member inquiries.
• Ensure opening/closing procedures and club safety.
• Oversee facility cleanliness and maintenance and safety.
• Coordinate marketing promotions to meet revenue goals.
• Prepare periodic reports (weekly, monthly, annual).
• Work at any Planet Fitness location within the Houston Fitness Partners network.
