Job summary

Planet Fitness is expanding through Houston Fitness Partners and is seeking a Club Manager to lead daily club operations. You will recruit, train and motivate staff while maintaining a welcoming environment for members and guests.

Responsibilities include payroll oversight, scheduling, customer service, safety, and reporting to Corporate HR. This role offers growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have superior customer service skills, preferably in fitness.
• Experience as Assistant Manager at Planet Fitness is a plus.
• Strong leadership, diplomacy and listening skills are essential.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent problem resolution, energetic and hardworking.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and exemplary customer service for members and guests.
• Oversee payroll and scheduling to ensure proper staffing.
• Address issues with staff and members in a respectful, timely manner.
• Handle disciplinary actions and HR-related forms with Corporate HR.
• Manage front desk tasks: phone, member check-ins, and guest assistance.
• Ensure gym opens/closes following protocols; oversee cleaning and safety.
• Communicate marketing promotions to staff to support revenue goals.
• Prepare and submit weekly, monthly and annual reports.
