Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to keep clubs safe, clean, and fully operational. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime and uphold brand standards.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, servicing HVAC and facility systems, and maintaining accurate maintenance logs. The role requires strong troubleshooting, tool proficiency, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical documentation.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple work orders and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine facility maintenance to ensure safe, clean, and fully operational clubs.
• Inspect and service HVAC, lighting, plumbing, electrical systems, doors, locks, flooring, and common areas.
• Repair cardio and strength equipment and other club amenities; coordinate vendor repairs when needed.
• Maintain maintenance logs and documentation for inspections and repairs.
• Respond promptly to work orders and emergency maintenance situations.
