Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Huntley Health & Fitness Center is seeking a Member Services Associate to deliver exceptional member, guest, and prospect experiences at the front desk. You will handle enrollment, payments, tours, and information on programs and schedules.

The role requires strong customer service, basic computer and sales skills, and the ability to multi-task. CPR/AED certification within 90 days of hire is required, with opportunities to develop within a health-and-wellness environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or GED.
• 1 year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• 6 months of related experience or training preferred.
• 2-3 years of sales, reception and computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service desk interactions, opening/closing, phone calls, POS transactions, guest registration and fees, passes, check-ins, and providing information on activities and events.
• Promote and sell memberships and ancillary services including personal training, massages, and nutrition programs.
• Schedule appointments via Compete, including reminders, cancellations and informing staff.
• Balance cash drawer and handle credit card and check policies during daily operations.
• Enroll members via contracts, explain membership terms, obtain signatures and payments, and distribute member handbooks.
• Maintain effective radio communication with all departments as needed.
• Aim for satisfaction metrics from Secret Shops and member surveys.
