Job summary

Naperville Park District seeks a part-time Fitness Attendant to provide excellent customer service, check-in members, monitor the fitness floor, and keep equipment and locker rooms clean and safe. You will greet members by name, assist with equipment use and educate on proper form to prevent injuries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 19 years of age.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certifications within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at check-in and greet members by name.
• Assist members with fitness equipment and ensure proper form.
• Educate members on equipment purpose and safe usage.
• Clean and organize fitness floor and equipment; monitor locker rooms.
• Operate computer software used by the Park District to assist customers.
• Respond to member inquiries and safety incidents promptly.
• Report inventory needs and safety concerns to supervisors.
