Job summary

Gleneagles Country Club in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a part-time Fitness Administrative Assistant to support the Healthy Lifestyle Center operations and member services. The role includes billing, scheduling, and coordinating personal training or spa appointments, with evening and weekend hours.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, computer proficiency, and a mindset for multi-tasking in a busy club environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a pleasant personality and capable of having good communication skills for working directly with members.
• CPR, AED and First Aid certification preferred or will obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Excellent computer, oral, written and customer service skills required.
• Good organizational skills; well organized with proactive work style. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and works overtime when necessary (to meet a deadline).
• Ability to work independently, conceptualize projects and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word (including mail merges), and Adobe Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the Fitness Center and the Spa of the Healthy Lifestyle Center.
• Assists the Manager with POS tickets, personal training charges, Accounting Reports, updating calendar, and assisting with communication (email blasts, phone app, website) to members.
• Assists with special events, lectures and zoom workshops and classes.
• Assists the Fitness Director/Manager in continued development of services within the Fitness Department.
• Attends all training sessions and regular staff meetings; researches assigned projects and topics.
• Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Healthy Lifestyle Director/Manager.
• PRIOR FITNESS CENTER/TRAINING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED!
