Educational Data Systems, Inc. (EDSI) is seeking a part-time FIT Representative to support job seekers at the Career Center. The role involves promoting programs, determining eligibility, coordinating intake, and guiding enrollment.

Ideal candidates have experience in recruitment and customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to work 20 hours per week Monday–Friday. Spanish is a plus; Microsoft Office proficiency is expected.

Job Description: FIT Representative Part Time Salary: $23,004.80/year

This is a part time position 20 hours/week Hours are Monday - Friday, 10am - 2pm

Scope of Position

Determine participant eligibility and facilitate enrollment into WIOA ADW, Youth, WP, WT, SNAP E&T, and Reemployment Assistance programs. Provide excellent customer service and promote all Career Center services.

Essential Functions

• Promote all programs and services available to customers/job seekers
• Determine program eligibility and accurately complete required documentation for enrollment
• Coordinate overall online and in-person intake, assessment, and orientation process
• Ensure applicant understands the parameters that specific program offers
• Demonstrate, maintain, and communicate programmatic policies and procedures
• Provide referrals as needed to local partnering agencies through partner referral portal
• Address all customer identified needs and barriers with appropriate resolution plans and expected outcome achievement dates in customers’ plans
• Coordinate customer participation in program specific activities
• Provide overview of available job search resources, workshops, and orientations
• Responsible for facilitating one-on-one appointments for resume support as needed
• Provide clear guidance and expectations of customer program participation
• Input data collection and update all progress in program designated data tracking systems
• Maintain organized database of customers and keep detailed documentation of all contacts
• Serve as an initial point of contact for walk-in customers
• Conduct orientation and various workshops for new and existing customers, as needed
• Maintain and submit program required reports as assigned for designated programs
• Share information with appropriate staff and/or funding agencies
• Ensure that positive outcomes and goals are met as required by contractor
• Work with the team on implementing processes that increase positive customer engagement
• Support CSCR satellite locations, as needed
• Represent EDSI and CSCR at events such as job fairs, info sessions, and partner trainings

Education and Experience Requirements

• Experience in recruitment, customer service, and/or placement services
• Bachelor's degree is preferred, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
• Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• Comfortable presenting information and educating small groups
• Ability to provide optimal customer service and advocacy using a customer-centered approach
