Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Team Leader to direct department associates, manage merchandising, inventory, pricing, and customer service. You will partner with management to staff, train, and coach a service‑oriented team while maintaining profitability and a positive store environment.

You will stay current on product knowledge, conduct staff demos, and support special events and promotional campaigns to enhance the shopping experience for all customers.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to calculate discounts, commissions and percentages.
• Ability to read and analyze reports and present findings to managers and staff.
• Strong communication skills for meetings, trainings, and customer interactions.
• Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets and POS/inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of department associates and ensure customer service standards.
• Assist in staffing, training, and evaluating team members; coordinate schedules.
• Maintain merchandising directives, pricing, planograms and UPC integrity.
• Support sales, margin, shrinkage and payroll goals with effective supervision.
• Provide product knowledge, demonstrate items, and drive in-store programs.
