Cheney Brothers is seeking a dependable fish packing associate at our Miami facility. You will process and pack fish to order, inspect quality, and maintain a clean, safe production area in a cold environment.
Responsibilities include prepping fish for cutters, handling cases, staging, and ensuring accurate labeling and packaging while following GMPs and HACCP guidelines.

Processes and packs fish products using hand tools and machines according to order specifications. Inspects, preps, and labels fish while following safety, sanitation, and company procedures in a clean and organized work environment.

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Experience: 1+ year of experience in packing, production Line, manufacturing, prep cook or other related experience.
Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 50lbs, pushing/pulling up to 50lbs.
Skills: Ability to work in cold and wet environments.
Must be able to work in varying temperatures per department between 32 F to 80F +
Ability to perform repeated tasks with attention to detail.
Willing to perform all tasks when and where assigned and as changing situations arise.
Ability to understand to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to perform basic math skills.
Team player with professional, positive attitude and good work ethics.
Experience with food/and or fish handling or food processing.
