Cheney Brothers is hiring for a meat processing position on the 2nd shift in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Start times range from 2:30pm to 11pm, with Sundays 6am–2:30pm. Pay starts at $16 per hour and increases with experience.
Responsibilities include processing and packing meat products to order, inspecting and weighing meat, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while following USDA, GMP, and SQF standards.

Processes and packs meat products using hand tools and machines to meet order specifications. Follows safety and sanitation rules while keeping the work area clean and organized.

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience:
1+ year experience in the food service industry or food production environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods, up to six hours per day
Ability and willingness to work in cold environments such as refrigerated storage or meat processing facilities
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including repeatedly lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 80 lbs throughout the shift on a regular basis.
Bilingual Spanish preferred.
Preferably in food handling or food processing Familiarity.
knowledge in meat advantageous.
