Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd. in Hawai`i seeks an Apprentice Fish Cutter for Market City. This on-site, part-time position involves stocking and preparing seafood, assisting customers, and maintaining fresh displays.

Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred. The apprentice program includes training, and candidates must be at least 18, with high school or equivalent, able to lift up to 75 pounds, and able to pass TB clearance.

Qualifications

• High school or better required or equivalent experience.
• Culinary and knife skills preferred for seafood preparation.
• Ability to assist customers and maintain seafood displays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure seafood cases are stocked with fresh products.
• Receive, stock, cut, wrap, weigh, price and merchandise seafood items.
• Assist customers with special requests and answer questions about seafood.
