Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd in Hawaii is hiring experienced Fish Cutters for a part-time role with an evening and weekend preference. The position includes stocking, cutting, wrapping, weighing, and merchandising seafood products, with a focus on freshness and customer service.

Applicants must be 18+, have high school education (or equivalent), be able to lift up to 75 pounds, and complete an apprenticeship/training program. TB clearance and adherence to policies are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 75 pounds.
• Must successfully pass apprentice/training program.
• Must have TB Clearance.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the seafood cases are well-stocked with fresh, high-quality seafood products for customers.
• Receive, stock, cut, prepare, wrap, weigh, price, and merchandise seafood department products.
• Perform proper inventory control and product rotation to maximize freshness and minimize waste.
• Attend the service case and assist customers with special requests and questions about seafood products.
• Help increase sales by offering product samples and recommending additional items.
