Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd. is hiring a part-time Fish Cutter in Hawaii to stock and cut seafood, assist customers, and maintain freshness. Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred and on-island candidates are prioritized. Training/apprentice programs may apply and relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• High school education required or equivalent.
• Culinary experience preferred.
• Knife skills and fish cutting experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and complete training.
• Evening and weekend availability strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep seafood cases stocked with fresh, quality products.
• Receive, stock, cut, wrap, weigh, price and merchandise seafood items.
• Maintain proper inventory and rotation to ensure freshness.
• Attend the service case and assist customers with requests.
• Recommend additional items and offer samples to boost sales.
• Operate wrapping machines and knives safely as part of duties.
• Follow all company policies and training requirements.
