Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd in Hawaiʻi seeks a Fish Cutter to stock, cut, wrap and merchandise seafood, ensuring freshness and quality for customers. This on-island, hourly role involves assisting shoppers, handling seafood items, and maintaining product rotation.

Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred; applicants must be 18+, pass a TB clearance, and meet safety and policy requirements. Comprehensive benefits are provided based on position.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 75 pounds.
Must successfully pass apprentice/training program (applies to apprentice only).
Must have TB Clearance.
Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

Ensure seafood cases are stocked with fresh, high-quality seafood products for customers.
Receive, stock, cut, prepare, wrap, weigh, price and merchandise seafood department products.
Maintain proper inventory control and product rotation to maximize freshness and minimize waste.
Attend the service case and assist customers with requests and questions about seafood products.
Help increase sales by offering samples and recommending additional items.
Fish cutters work with wrapping machines and knives.
