Middlesex District Attorney’s Office is seeking a Fiscal Specialist to join the Administrative & Finance team. You will manage encumbrances, budget controls, accounts payable and receivable, and procurement activities with MOSAIC, CIW, and related data warehouses.

The role requires strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to improve processes while safeguarding fiscal controls. Travel within the Greater Boston area may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of budget and fiscal experience preferred.
• Experience with Access data queries and MS Office Suite.
• Strong customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license may be required for travel.

Aufgaben

• Manage encumbrances, budget, AP, and AR processes timely and accurately.
• Prepare, review, and analyze fiscal reports for the CFO.
• Process invoices, track payments, and vendor files.
• Coordinate procurement, bid files, and contract activities.
• Run reports to verify balances, spending, and payroll data.
• Support grant purchasing, encumbrance, and reporting activities.
• Provide responsive budget policy guidance to staff and vendors.
