• Equivalency option allowed by the agency.

Responsibilities

• Approve purchase orders in SFS.
• Approve invoices, vouchers and travel reimbursements in SFS for payment.
• Prepare annual budget submission and related reports with district leadership.
• Oversee revenue collections and financial reporting for the district.
• Respond to questions from fiscal staff on SFS.
• Oversee Tenant work and Capital Facilities projects in the district's courts.
• Manage the annual Budget Management Plan and equipment requests in line with regulations.
• Procure equipment, furniture and supplies.
• Travel may be required.

Job description

The New York State Unified Court System 4th Judicial District is recruiting for one (1) position in the Alanyst Series. The position will be filled in one of the following titles and will be dependent on the qualifications and experience of the applicant selected: Management Analyst or Principal Court Analyst.

This position is responsible for the fiscal operations of the 4th Judicial District and supervising the Fiscal Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Approving purchase orders in the New York Statewide Financial System (SFS).
• Approving invoices/vouchers and travel reimbursements in SFS for payment.
• Creating the annual budget submission and creating reports in consultation with the Chief Clerk(s) and District Executive.
• Overseeing revenue collections and financial reporting.
• Responding to questions from the court's fiscal personnel related to SFS.
• Overseeing Tenant work and Capital Facilities projects in the district’s courts.
• Managing the annual Budget Management Plan for the 4th Judicial District and creating equipment requests in compliance with statewide regulations.
• Procuring equipment, furniture, and supplies.
• Travel may be required.

Qualifications:

Management Analyst: One year in the Principal Court Analyst title; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience. Base Salary: $94,386

Principal Court Analyst: One year in the Senior Court Analyst title; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
